A Look at Asus EeePads 121, 101TC, and the Eee Tablet
Here’s a look at three innovative products from Asus: the Asus EeePad 121, the Asus EeePad 101TC, and the Asus Eee Tablet.
The Asus EeePad 121 sounds exciting. It’s a 12.1 inch tablet with a keyboard dock that allows you to use the tablet like a regular laptop. It runs on a Core 2 Duo, ultra low voltage processor with a Windows 7 operating system. It also has a web camera and at least one USB port. The battery can last to as long as 10 hours. AMAZING!
Meanwhile, the Asus EeePad 101TC tablet is only 10.1″ and runs on what seems to be an Android operating system. I imagine it to be more lightweight. Only half the thickness of my current netbook. And Asus Ph has hinted they will be launching this in the Philippines soon.
The Asus EeePads are pegged to be priced around $399 – $499 or around PhP18,000 – PhP23,000.
Another exciting innovation from Asus is the Eee Tablet which measures 8 inches. It is actually an Ereader with a note taking feature. It also has a web camera and a micro sd slot. It is slated to be released sometime this 2010, pegged at around $199 – $299.
