Globe Telecommunications is now the first mobile service provider in the Philippines to roll out the 4G mobile technology. The first phase of the roll out uses the global standard HSPA+ to complement the Globe 4G WiMAX Network. This will provide for a high speed broadband access for Globe WiMAX subscribers. The real kicker is that it’s on mobile.

The Globe 4G mobile technology is now available in Metro Manila. By the end of 2011, Globe hopes to expand the availability of the service across the nation. And the expansion will continue until 2012.

Alongside with the roll out of the 4G mobile technology, Globe will also be offering new multimedia services, 4G devices, and offers for customers to enjoy.
